Methodology
At Ambitus learning relates to engaging. Engaged learners are involved and think independently. Learning is not about giving solutions but guiding them towards asking the right questions to get their own solutions. We strive to achieve a balance between learning and play thus making it fun and enjoyable. Learners are moulded through active learning strategies of Lev Vygotsky’s constructivism with a growth mindset. They are challenged age-appropriately, to achieve what is expected out of the lesson through designed curriculum strands of Cambridge Scheme of Work. Teachers train their students to become active members of classroom activities. They are allowed to present their thoughts in the area of their interest as per their learning abilities. Learners are provided with lots of opportunities to make mistakes, grow at their own pace and shine at their best. This provides them scope to identify their passion and work towards achieving something unique as tomorrow’s world leaders. A sustainable growth in harmony with the environment is not explicitly taught but imbibed as a culture within the learning opportunities provided. Thus Ambitus World School, Vijayawada provides its learners with moments of ‘Wow’ which will later allow them to ‘go higher go places’.
